Analysis of Health Literacy Status and Influencing Factors of Residents in Xicheng District of Beijing in 2022
Objective To analyze the current situation and influencing factors of health literacy among residents in Xicheng District in 2022,and to provide scientific reference for the government to formulate health policies and measures.Methods From October to December 2022,a stratified multi-stage random sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 3 aspects of health literacy(basic knowledge and concept,healthy lifestyle and behavior,health skills)and 6 types of health problems(scientific health concept,infectious disease prevention and control literacy,chronic disease prevention and control literacy,safety and first aid literacy,basic medical literacy,health information literacy)of 2200 permanent residents aged 15-69 in Xicheng District.Results The health literacy rate of residents in Xicheng District was 43.31％.The three aspects of health literacy from high to low were basic knowledge and concept(55.69％),healthy lifestyle and behavior(46.16％)and health skills(43.22％).The health literacy rate of 6 types of health problems from high to low was safety and first aid(71.78％),scientific health concept(67.38％),health information(59.43％),chronic disease prevention and control(51.74％),infectious disease prevention and control(40.15％),basic medical care(33.89％).The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age,education level,occupation,annual household income and chronic diseases were the factors affecting the health literacy level of residents in Xicheng District.Conclusion Compared with 2018,the health literacy level of residents in Xicheng District has been improved.Low-income people,low-educated people and patients with chronic diseases are the focus of health education and health promotion in the future.
