Clinical Efficacy of Nerve Block Combined with Pregabalin in the Treatment of Postherpetic Neuralgia
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of nerve block(NB)combined with pre gabalin in the treatment of posthertic neuralgia(PHN).Methods A total of 76 patients with PHN admitted to Duxian People's Hospital from April 2022 to August 2023 were randomly divided into control group(38 patients)and observation group(38 patients). The control group was treated with pregabalin, and the observation group was treated with NB combined with pregabalin. The clinical efficacy, pain degree[digital pain score(NRS)],inflammation level[interleukin-10(IL-10),interleukin-26(IL-26)]and immune response indexes[high mobility group protein b1(HMGB1),chemokine CXC ligand 10(CXCL10)]before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group(97.37%)was higher than that of the control group(84.21%)(P<0.05).After treatment, the NRS score of the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and the NRS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of IL-10 and IL-26 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of IL-10 and IL-26 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of HMGB1 and CXCL10 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of HMGB1 and CXCL10 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion NB combined with pregabalin is effective in the treatment of PHN,which can relieve the pain of patients,down-regulate the inflammatory response in vivo and improve the immune response of the body.
