Effect of Continuous Infusion of Lidocaine Injection Combined with Buccal Acupuncture on Reducing the Incidence of PONV in Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Total Hysterectomy
Objective To study the effect of continuous infusion of lidocaine injection combined with buccal acupuncture on reducing the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV)in patients undergoing laparoscopic total hysterectomy. Methods A total of 72 patients who underwent laparoscopic total hysterectomy in our hospital from May 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects. Both groups were given tracheal intubation general anesthesia. They were divided into control group(36 patients)and observation group(36 patients)by random number table method. The control group was given routine anesthesia induction, and the observation group was given buccalneedle+continuous infusion of lidocaine injection before anesthesia induction. The incidence of nausea and vomiting at different time points, comfort score(NVAS),first exhaust and defecation time, adverse reactions and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of nausea and vomiting in the observation group was lower than that in the control group during anesthesia recovery period,2 h,6 h and 12 h after operation(P<0.05).The NVAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group during the anesthesia recovery period,2 h after operation,6 h after operation and 12 h after operation(P<0.05).The first exhaust and defecation time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).The treatment satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous infusion of lidocaine injection combined with buccal acupuncture can effectively reduce the incidence of PONV after laparoscopic total hysterectomy, improve patient satisfaction, shorten the recovery time of gastrointestinal function, and promote patient comfort. It is worthy of clinical application.
