Clinical Efficacy of Continuous and Intermittent Blue Light Irradiation in the Treatment of Neonates with Hyperbilirubinemia
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of continuous and intermittent blue light irradiation in the treatment of neonates with hyperbilirubinemia. Methods A total of 62 neonates with hyperbilirubinemia diagnosed and treated in our hospital from August 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 31 neonates in each group. The control group was treated with continuous blue light irradiation, and the observation group was treated with intermittent blue light irradiation. The clinical efficacy, jaundice index at different times, bilirubin level, immune function index and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.55%,which was higher than 80.65%in the control group(P<0.05).The jaundice indexe of the two groups on the 1st and 3rd day of treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the jaundice indexes of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the bilirubin levels of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in bilirubin levels between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).The levels of CD3+and CD4+in peripheral blood of the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment, and the levels of CD3+and CD4+in peripheral blood of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 9.68%,which was lower than 19.35%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with continuous blue light irradiation, intermittent blue light irradiation can improve the clinical efficacy of neonates with hyperbilirubinemia, reduce bilirubin level and jaundice index, improve immune function indexes, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, which has important clinical application value.
