Effect of Nicotinic Acid Injection on Inflammatory Response and Clinical Symptoms in Patients with Non-ST-segment Elevation Acute Coronary Syndrome
Objective To study the effect of nicotinic acid injection on inflammatory response and clinical symptoms in patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome(NSTE-ACS).Methods A total of 60 patients with NSTE-ACS admitted to Ji'an County People's Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were randomly divided into control group(30 patients)and observation group(30 patients). The control group was given routine treatment, and the observation group was treated with nicotinic acid injection on the basis of the control group. The remission of symptoms(frequency and duration of angina pectoris),inflammatory response indexes[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-18)],cardiac function[left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)],major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the frequency and duration of angina pectoris in the two groups were less than those before treatment, and the frequency and duration of angina pectoris in the observation group were less than those in the control group(P<0.05).The inflammatory response indexes(CRP,IL-6,IL-18)of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the inflammatory response indexes(CRP,IL-6,IL-18)of the observation group after treatment were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,LVEF in the two groups was greater than that before treatment,LVEDD was less than that before treatment, and LVEF in the observation group was greater than that in the control group,LVEDD was less than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of MACE in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Nicotinic acid injection can effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms of NSTE-ACS patients, reduce their inflammatory response, improve cardiac function, reduce the risk of MACE,and do not increase adverse drug reactions.
