Effect of Motivational Interview Nursing Intervention on Self-behavior and Cardiac Function in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure
Objective To study the effect of motivational interviewing(MI)nursing intervention on self-behavior and cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods A total of 82 patients with CHF admitted to Tianjin Chest Hospital from May 2020 to May 2022 were selected and divided into observation group(41 patients)and control group(41 patients)according to the random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given MI nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The self-behavior[Health-promoting Lifestyle Profile(HPLP),Self-Care of Heart Failure Index(SCHFI)],cardiac function[serum brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),6-minute walking test(6MWT)],General Self-efficacy Scale(GSES)score,Minnesota heart failure quality of life questionnaire(LiHFe)score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The HPLP and SCHFI scores of the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, and the HPLP and SCHFI scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the BNP level of the two groups was lower than that before intervention, the 6MWT was higher than that before intervention, and the BNP level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the 6MWT was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The GSES score of the two groups after intervention was higher than that before intervention, the LiHFe score was lower than that before intervention, and the GSES score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the LiHFe score was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion MI nursing intervention can effectively improve the health behavior management and self-care ability of CHF patients, promote the recovery of cardiac function, improve the self-efficacy and quality of life of patients, and improve nursing satisfaction.
