Effect of Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate with Comprehensive Treatment on Endocrine Function in Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Objective To study the effect of ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate with comprehensive treatment on endocrine function in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods A total of 80 patients with PCOS admitted to Fengcheng Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected and divided into control group(40 patients)and observation group(40 patients)by random number table method.The control group was treated with conventional comprehensive treatment,and the observation group was treated with ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,endocrine function[testosterone(T),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)],symptoms(incidence of menstrual disorders,Ferriman-Gallway hair score,Pillsbury acne score)and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than 80.00%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of T,FSH and LH in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the levels of T,FSH and LH in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the incidence of menstrual disorders,Ferriman-Gallway hair score and Pillsbury acne score in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the incidence of menstrual disorders,Ferriman-Gallway hair score and Pillsbury acne score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate with comprehensive treatment can improve the clinical efficacy of PCOS,improve the endocrine function of patients,relieve the symptoms of menstrual disorder,hirsutism and acne,and has high drug safety.
