Objective To study the effect of three-hole laparoscopy in the treatment of periappendiceal abscess and its influence on quality of life. Methods A total of 70 patients with periappendiceal abscess diagnosed and treated in our hospital from February 2019 to February 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into observation group(n=35)and control group(n=35)by random number table method. The control group was treated with traditional laparotomy, and the observation group was treated with three-hole laparoscopy. The clinical efficacy, surgical indicators, pain score(VAS),incidence of postoperative complications and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.29%,which was higher than 82.86%in the control group(P<0.05).The operation time, postoperative first exhaust time and postoperative ambulation time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS score between the observation group and the control group at 2 h after operation(P>0.05),but the VAS scores of the observation group at 6 and 12 h after operation were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 8.57%,which was lower than 20.00%in the control group(P<0.05).The postoperative quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than those before operation, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Three-hole laparoscopy has a good clinical effect in the treatment of periappendiceal abscess, which can improve the clinical operation index, reduce the pain degree of patients, prevent complications, and improve the quality of life of patients after operation.
