Efficacy of Montelukast Sodium and Doxofylline in the Treatment of Acute Attack of Bronchial Asthma and its Effect on Respiratory Function
Objective To explore the efficacy of montelukast sodium and doxofylline in the treatment of acute attack of bronchial asthma and its effect on respiratory function. Methods A total of 86 patients with acute attack of bronchial asthma admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. All patients were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 43 patients in each group. The control group was treated with montelukast sodium, and the study group was treated with montelukast sodium and doxofylline. The therapeutic effect, blood gas index levels (PaCO2,PaO2),and lung function index levels (FVC,FEV1,FEV1%,PEF) were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of PaCO2 in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and aPaO2、FVC,FEV1,FEV1% and PEF were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Montelukast sodium and doxofylline are effective in the treatment of acute attack of bronchial asthma, which can significantly improve the respiratory function and lung function of patients. It is worthy of clinical application.
