Diagnostic Value of MSCT Combined with Diffusion Weighted Imaging in Patients with Primary Liver Cancer
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of MSCT combined with diffusion weighted imaging in primary liver cancer. Methods A total of 66 patients with suspected primary liver tumors diagnosed and treated in our hospital from March 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the research objects. All patients were diagnosed by multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). The pathological diagnosis results were used as the gold standard. The detection rate and diagnostic efficacy of different diagnostic methods for different types of patients and patients with different pathological stages were observed. The value of MSCT combined with DWI and single diagnosis of primary liver cancer was compared. Results The operation time of MSCT+DWI was longer than that of DWI and MSCT,and the diagnosis time was shorter than that of DWI and MSCT (P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in the operation time and diagnosis time between DWI and MSCT ( P>0.05). There was no significant difference in diagnostic sensitivity between MSCT+DWI and DWI,MSCT (P>0.05),but the diagnostic specificity and accuracy of MSCT+DWI were higher than those of DWI and MSCT (P<0.05),however,there was no significant difference in specificity and accuracy between DWI and MSCT (P>0.05).The accuracy of the number and diameter of lesions detected by MSCT+DWI was higher than that of DWI and MSCT (P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between DWI and MSCT (P>0.05). ROC curve showed that the AUC area of MSCT+DWI in the diagnosis of primary liver cancer was larger than that of DWI and MSCT (P<0.05).Conclusion MSCT combined with diffusion weighted imaging has a relatively high value in the diagnosis of primary liver cancer, which can improve the specificity and accuracy, reduce the rate of missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis. Meanwhile,it is conducive to the accurate detection of the number and diameter of lesions, which can provide a reliable reference for early clinical treatment.
