Effect of Cluster Nursing on Thyroid Function and Satisfaction of Patients with Thyroid Nodule Microwave Ablation
Objective To study the effect of cluster nursing on thyroid function and satisfaction of patients with thyroid nodule microwave ablation. Methods A total of 64 patients who underwent microwave ablation of thyroid nodules in our hospital from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 32 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing,and the observation group was treated with cluster nursing intervention. The operation and recovery indexes (intraoperative blood loss,time to get out of bed,hospitalization time,hospitalization cost),pain (NRS) score,thyroid function indexes[free triiodothyronine (FT3),free thyroxine (FT4),thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH)],complication rate and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The amount of bleeding,the time of getting out of bed,the time of hospitalization and the cost of hospitalization in the observation group were less than those in the control group (P<0.05). The NRS score of the two groups was lower than that before intervention,and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). FT4 in the two groups was higher than that before intervention,FT3 and TSH were lower than those before intervention,and FT4 in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,FT3 and TSH were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.25%,which was lower than 21.88% in the control group (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 93.75%,which was higher than 81.25% of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Cluster nursing can promote the recovery of thyroid function after microwave ablation of thyroid nodules,improve nursing satisfaction,reduce the incidence of complications,reduce the pain of patients,and promote the rapid recovery of patients after operation.
