Effect of Different Hormone Replacement Therapy on Patients with Perimenopausal Syndrome
Objective To explore the effect of different hormone replacement therapy on symptom relief in patients with perimenopausal syndrome, and to provide reference for clinical formulation of more reasonable treatment plan. Methods A total of 66 patients with perimenopausal syndrome admitted to Xinfeng County Maternal and Child Health Hospital from May 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into routine group and study group, with 33 patients in each group. The routine group was treated with progesterone in the second half of menstruation, and the study group was treated with estrogen and progesterone cycle sequential therapy. The uterine status(endometrial thickness, uterine volume),blood lipid levels[total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)],hormone levels[luteinizing hormone(LH),serum estradiol(E2)and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)],neurotransmitter levels[5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),β-endorphin(β-EP),norepinephrine(NE)],Kupperman score and incidence of adverse reactions(small amount of vaginal bleeding, breast distending pain, nausea and diarrhea)were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in uterine volume between the two groups(P>0.05).The endometrial thickness of the study group was lower than that of the routine group(P<0.05).The levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the study group were lower than those in the routine group, and the level of HDL-C was higher than that in the routine group(P<0.05).The levels of LH and FSH in the study group were lower than those in the routine group, and the level of E2 was higher than that in the routine group(P<0.05).The levels of 5-HT and β-EP in the study group were higher than those in the routine group, and the level of NE was lower than that in the routine group(P<0.05).The Kupperman score of the study group was lower than that of the routine group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the study group and the routine group(P>0.05).Conclusion Estrogen and progesterone cycle sequential therapy is effective in the treatment of patients with perimenopausal syndrome, which can reduce the Kupperman score, improve the endometrial thickness and hormone level of patients.
