Analysis of the Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Flexible Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy in the Treatment of Upper Urinary Tract Calculi
Objective To study the clinical efficacy and safety of flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy in the treatment of upper urinary tract calculi. Methods A total of 46 patients with upper urinary tract calculi diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 23 patients in each group. The control group was treated with percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and the observation group was treated with flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy. The stone clearance rate, complication rate, clinical operation index, pain(VAS)score and renal function index were compared between the two groups. Results The stone diameter<2 cm clearance rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the stone diameter≥2 cm clearance rate was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 8.70%,which was lower than 21.74%in the control group(P<0.05).The operation time of the observation group was longer than that of the control group, the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group, and the hospitalization time was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).The VAS score of the observation group at 24 and 72 h after operation was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The postoperative Scr,hemoglobin and urea nitrogen in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy can effectively improve the stone clearance rate of patients with upper urinary tract stones and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications. It has the advantages of less impact on renal function, less intraoperative blood loss and less pain.
