Value of Combined Detection of Urine Dry Analysis and Urine Sediment Microscopy in the Diagnosis of Urinary System Diseases
Objective To study the value of combined detection of urine drying analysis and urinary sediment microscopy in the diagnosis of urinary system diseases. Methods A total of 60 patients with urinary system diseases diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2020 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects.Urine bacterial culture was used as the gold standard. All patients were included in urine drying analysis, urine sediment microscopy and urine drying analysis+urine sediment microscopy. The operation time, diagnosis time, diagnostic accuracy of different diseases, and the positive rate of red blood cells and white blood cells, tubular and protein were observed, and the diagnostic efficacy(sensitivity, specificity)of different detection methods for urinary system diseases was analyzed. Results The operation time and diagnosis time of urine drying analysis method were shorter than those of urine sediment microscopy, urine drying analysis method+urine sediment microscopy combined detection, and those of the urine sediment microscopy were shorter than those of combined detection(P<0.05).The diagnostic rate of urinary sediment microscopy for uriary calculi, urinary tract infection, acute nephritis syndrome and glomerular disease was higher than that of urine drying analysis(P<0.05),but the diagnostic rate of urine drying analysis combined with urinary sediment microscopy for the above diseases was higher than that of urine sediment microscopy(P<0.05).The positive rates of red blood cells and white blood cells, tubular and protein in urine drying analysis combined with urine sediment microscopy were higher than those in urine drying analysis and urine sediment microscopy, and the positive rates of urine sediment microscopy were higher than those of urine drying analysis(P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of urine dry analysis combined with urine sediment microscopy were higher than those of urine sediment microscopy and urine dry analysis, and those of the urine sediment microscopy were higher than those of urine dry analysis(P<0.05).Conclusion Urine drying analysis and urine sediment microscopy have certain value in the diagnosis of urinary system diseases, and have their own advantages and disadvantages. The operation and diagnosis time of urine drying analysis method is short, but the diagnosis rate of urinary diseases and the positive rate of red blood cells and white blood cells, tubular and protein detection are lower than those of urine sediment microscopy. The combined detection of urine dry analysis and urinary sediment microscopy can improve the sensitivity and specificity of the diagnosis of urinary diseases, which is worthy of clinical application.
