Value of DWI and ADC in the Differential Diagnosis of Benign and Malignant Lesions of Musculoskeletal System
Objective To explore the application value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)diffusion weighted imaging(DWI)in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant lesions of musculoskeletal system. Methods From January 2022 to October 2023,62 patients with musculoskeletal system lesions and 31 healthy subjects were selected as the research objects.According to the results of surgical pathological examination,62 patients with musculoskeletal system lesions were divided into benign group and malignant group, with 31 patients in each group, and 31 healthy subjects were selected as the control group. The ADC values of the three groups under different b values were compared, and the imaging features of DWI sequence of MRI examination in benign group and malignant group were analyzed. Results When the b value was 600 s/mm2,800 s/mm2 and 1000 s/mm2,the ADC value of the malignant group was lower than that of the control group, and the ADC value of the benign group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The probability of peripheral edema, liquefaction necrosis and static enhancement in the malignant group was higher than that in the benign group(P<0.05).With 1.38×10-3 s/mm2 as the threshold, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ADC value in the assessment of potential malignancy of musculoskeletal lesions were 95.25%,95.66%and 95.39%,respectively.Conclusion MRI examination DWI sequence scanning krypton is used for the identification and diagnosis of benign and malignant lesions of the musculoskeletal system.By comparing the changes of ADC values of patients at different b values, with the help of MRI image features, the musculoskeletal system diseases are accurately identified. The differential diagnosis of benign and malignant diseases has high application value.
