Effect of NUAK2 on the Invasion and Migration of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells
Objective To study the effect of NUAK family kinase 2(NUAK2)on the invasion and migration of hepatocellular carcinoma cells. Methods From January 2022 to June 2023,40 cases of liver cancer tissue specimens from patients undergoing surgical treatment in our hospital were selected as the observation group, and 40 cases of normal liver tissue specimens from patients undergoing surgical treatment at the same time were selected as the control group.Polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and Western Blot were used to detect the expression levels of NUAK2 and NUAK2 mRNA in the two groups.Transwell method was used to detect the effect of NUAK2 on the invasion ability of liver cancer cell lines, and cell scratch test was used to detect the effect of NUAK2 on the migration ability of liver cancer cell lines. Results The level of NUAK2 and the expression of NUAK2 mRNA in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The number of invasive cells and invasion inhibition rate of liver cancer cells in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The number of migrated cells and migration inhibition rate of liver cancer cells in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion NUAK2 is highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues, and it can reduce the invasion and migration rate of hepatocellular carcinoma cells, which further indicates that high level of NUAK2 is closely related to the invasion and migration ability of hepatocellular carcinoma, and may regulate the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma after interacting with other proteins.
