Effect of Citicoline Injection Combined with Minimally Invasive Puncture Drainage on Brain Edema and Serum AQP4 in Patients with Moderate Hypertensive Basal Ganglia Hemorrhage
Objective To study the effect of citicoline injection combined with minimally invasive puncture and drainage on cerebral edema and serum AQP4 in patients with moderate hypertensive basal ganglia hemorrhage.Methods A total of 80 patients with moderate hypertensive basal ganglia hemorrhage who were treated in our hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 40 patients in each group.The control group was treated with citicoline injection,and the observation group was treated with minimally invasive puncture and drainage on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,neurological deficit(NIHSS)score,brain edema volume,serum AQP4 level and activity of daily living(ADL)classification were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than 82.50%in the control group(P<0.05).The NIHSS score of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment,and that of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the volume of brain edema in the two groups was smaller than that before treatment,the level of serum AQP4 was lower than that before treatment,and the volume of brain edema and the level of serum AQP4 in the observation group were smaller than those in the control group(P<0.05).The proportion of ADL grade Ⅰ and Ⅱ in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the proportion of grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of citicoline injection combined with minimally invasive puncture and drainage in patients with moderate hypertensive basal ganglia intracerebral hemorrhage can improve the total effective rate of treatment,promote the recovery of neurological function,reduce the volume of cerebral edema,reduce the level of serum AQP4,and improve the level of daily living ability of patients.It has an ideal clinical therapeutic effect.
