Comparison of Surgical Effects,Complications and Prognosis of Colorectal Cancer Patients with Different Visceral Fat Area
Objective To study the effect of different visceral fat area(VFA)on the surgical effect, complications and prognosis of colorectal cancer patients. Methods A total of 60 patients with colorectal cancer diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to VFA,they were divided into study group(VFA≥100 cm2)(n=23)and control group(VFA<100 cm2)(n=37).The clinical operation indexes(operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative exhaust time, hospitalization time),operation effect(conversion rate, number of lymph node dissection),complication rate and short-term prognosis(overall survival and disease-free survival)were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative exhaust time and hospitalization time in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The number of lymph node dissection in the study group was less than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was 26.09%,which was higher than 8.11%in the control group(P<0.05).After 1 year of follow-up,the total survival time and disease-free survival time in study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion There are differences in surgical results and clinical surgical indicators in patients with colorectal cancer with different VFA,which may increase the risk of complications and affect the clinical prognosis.
