Effect of Modified Negative Pressure Corrector on Self-efficacy,Self-confidence and Success Rate of Breastfeeding in Parturients with Inverted Nipple
Objective To investigate the effect of modified negative pressure corrector on self-efficacy,self-confidence and success rate of breast feeding in parturients with inverted nipple.Methods From December 2022 to May 2024,62 parturients with inverted nipple admitted to Nanchang People's Hospital were selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group and study group by random number table method,with 31 parturients in each group.The control group was treated with routine intervention,and the study group was treated with modified negative pressure corrector.The correction rate of nipple depression,self-efficacy(inner activities,skills),breastfeeding success rate and breastfeeding self-confidence were compared between the two groups.Results The correction rate of nipple depression in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the self-efficacy score of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The success rate of breastfeeding in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The postpartum breastfeeding self-confidence score of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of modified negative pressure corrector in parturients with inverted nipple is definite,which can improve the correction rate of nipple depression,self-efficacy,success rate of breastfeeding and self-confidence of breastfeeding.It is worthy of clinical application.
