Clinical Effect of Somatostatin Combined with High-dose Omeprazole on Acute Upper Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage and its Effect on Hemoglobin Level
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of somatostatin combined with high-dose omeprazole on acute upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage and its effect on hemoglobin level. Methods A total of 60 patients with acute upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with high-dose omeprazole, and the study group was treated with somatostatin for injection on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, hemoglobin level and coagulation function indexes(prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time, platelet count, fibrinogen)were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the hemoglobin level of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time and fibrinogen level in the study group were lower than those in the control group, while the platelet count was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Somatostatin combined with high-dose omeprazole is effective in the treatment of acute upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage, which can improve the hemoglobin level and improve the coagulation function of patients. It is worthy of clinical application.
