Efficacy Analysis of Transumbilical Single-port Laparoscopic High Ligation of Inguinal Hernia Sac by Extraperitoneal Water Separation Method
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of transumbilical single-port laparoscopic high ligation of inguinal hernia sac by extraperitoneal water separation method. Methods A total of 60 children with indirect inguinal hernia admitted to Nanfeng County People's Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and laparoscopic group by random number table method, with 30 children in each group. The control group was treated with high ligation of inguinal hernia sac through small incision of abdominal transverse striation, and the laparoscopic group was treated with transumbilical single-port laparoscopic high ligation of inguinal hernia sac by extraperitoneal water separation. The clinical efficacy, inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)],surgical related indicators(incision size, bleeding volume, operation time, hospitalization time, hospitalization expenses),complication rate(testicular uplift, testicular atrophy, scrotal swelling, subcutaneous hematoma)and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the laparoscopic group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The levels of inflammatory factors in the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment, and the levels of inflammatory factors in the laparoscopic group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incision size, bleeding volume, operation time and hospitalization time of the laparoscopic group were lower than those of the control group, and the hospitalization cost was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications and recurrence rate in the laparoscopic group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Transumbilical single-port laparoscopic high ligation of indirect inguinal hernia sac by extraperitoneal water separation method is effective in the treatment of indirect inguinal hernia in children, which can reduce the inflammatory response, with small surgical incision, less bleeding, shorter operation time and hospitalization time.Meanwhile, the incidence of postoperative complications and recurrence rate are low, which is worthy of clinical application.
