Clinical Application and Research of Fire Cupping Comprehensive Moxibustion Combined with Acupoint Application in Epigastric Pain of Spleen and Stomach Deficiency Cold Type
Objective To study the clinical effect of fire cupping comprehensive moxibustion combined with acupoint application in the treatment of epigastric pain of spleen and stomach deficiency cold type. Methods From January 2023 to June 2024,60 patients with epigastric pain of spleen and stomach deficiency and cold type diagnosed and treated in our hospital were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the experimental group was treated with fire cupping comprehensive moxibustion+acupoint application on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, clinical symptom score, pain(VAS)score and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group(93.33%)was higher than that in the control group(83.33%)(P<0.05).The scores of acid reflux, nausea and vomiting, anorexia and abdominal distension in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The VAS score of the two groups after trentment was lower than that before treatment, and that of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The SF-36 score of the two groups after trentment was higher than that before treatment, and that of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of fire cupping comprehensive moxibustion combined with acupoint application in the treatment of epigastric pain of spleen and stomach deficiency cold type is ideal, which can improve the total effective rate of treatment, reduce clinical symptoms and pain, and improve the quality of life of patients. It is worthy of clinical application.
