Value Analysis of High-frequency Ultrasound Combined with Ultrasound-guided Biopsy in Breast BI-RADS 4B-5 Masses
Objective To explore the value of high-frequency ultrasound combined with ultrasound-guided biopsy in breast BI-RADS 4B-5 masses. Methods Thirty female patients with breast BI-RADS 4B-5 masses admitted to Wanzai County People's Hospital from April 2021 to June 2024 were selected as subjects.High-frequency ultrasound examination and ultrasound-guided biopsy were performed. The diagnostic efficacy of high-frequency ultrasound combined with ultrasound-guided biopsy in breast BI-RADS 4B-5 masses was analyzed with surgical pathological results as the gold standard. Results Among the 30 patients,32 lesions were identified, while 17 on the right and 15 on the left.Of these,26 lesions in 25 patients were malignant(breast cancer),while 6 lesions in 5 patients were benign. In the BI-RADS 4B category,4 lesions were malignant, with a positive predictive value of 44.44%.In the BI-RADS 4C category,11 lesions were malignant, with a positive predictive value of 91.67%.All BI-RADS 5 lesions were malignant, with a positive predictive value of 100.00%.The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy of high-frequency combined with ultrasound-guided biopsy were all 100%,which were higher than 80.77%,50.00%,87.50%,37.50%and 75.00%of high frequency ultrasonography. Conclusion The combination of high-frequency ultrasound and ultrasound-guided needle biopsy is highly effective for the differential diagnosis of BI-RADS 4B-5 breast masses, which can provide the precise guidance for clinical treatment.
