Sonographic Features and Diagnostic Value of Color Doppler Ultrasound in Benign and Malignant Breast Tumors
Objective To explore the ultrasonographic characteristics and diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound in benign and malignant breast tumors. Methods From January 2021 to August 2023,60 patients with breast tumor were selected as the study objects.19 cases of malignant tumor and 41 cases of benign tumor were diagnosed by operation and pathology. All patients underwent color Doppler ultrasonography, with surgical pathologic results as the gold standard. The diagnostic efficiency(sensitivity, specificity, accuracy)of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast tumors was calculated. The ultrasound features, blood flow signal, peak blood flow velocity and resistance index of benign and malignant tumors were compared. Results Totally 21 cases of malignant tumor and 39 cases of benign tumor were found by color Doppler ultrasound. The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of color Doppler ultrasound were 89.47%,90.24%and 90.00%,respectively.Compared with patients with benign tumors, the incidence of irregular tumor morphology, unclear boundary, uneven echo, calcification and local filling defect in patients with malignant tumors was higher(P<0.05).Compared with patients with benign tumors, the proportion of grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅲ in patients with malignant tumors was higher, and the proportion of grade 0 and grade Ⅰ was lower(P<0.05).Compared with patients with benign tumors,PSV and RI values were higher in patients with malignant tumors(P<0.05).Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound has a good diagnostic efficiency in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast tumors, and there are obvious differences in blood flow signal intensity and imaging findings between benign and malignant tumors, which can be used as diagnostic basis to improve the diagnostic detection rate.
