Research progress of polypeptides in viral infectious diseases
For nearly two decades,there have been multiple emerging and re-emerging viral infectious disease epidemics clas-sified by the World Health Organization(WHO)as"global public health emergencies."Safe and efficient antiviral drugs are particu-larly important in the prevention and control of major infectious diseases.Due to its good specificity,low toxicity,good safety and easy chemical modification,polypeptide drugs have broad application prospects in antiviral.This article reviews the research status of poly-peptides in viral infectious diseases.
