Thoracoabdominal injuries is a life-threatening,and traditional open surgery has problems such as large trauma and slow recovery.The introduction of laparoscopic technology has brought revolutionary changes to the treatment of thoracoabdominal injuries.This article aims to review the application and research progress of laparoscopy in the treatment of thoracoabdominal injuries,including technical advantages,diagnostic and therapeutic effects,and new developments in laparoscopic technology such as fluores-cence and wireless endoscopy,challenges,and future prospects.
