In recent years,China's policy on the operations management of public hospitals has been introduced intensively.Many hospitals have begun to promote the construction of operations management,and its connotation and extension are constantly developing.The analysis shows that there are problems in the operations management of public hospitals,such as the lack of clarity on the core purpose and key business content of hospital operations management,the lack of a model to guide the actual operation of the business,and the lack of clarity on the specific implementation strategies.Based on the medical service value chain from the perspective of"input-business process-output",we analyse the core purpose and explore the business content of the operations management of public hospitals.From the hospital practice,three domestic public hospital operations management practice models are summarised.Finally,we propose strategies for the development of operations management in terms of mode selection,business development and management improvement of hospital operations management.This will help hospitals to clarify the idea of opera-tions management construction,and promote the future high-quality development of public hospitals and the construction of modern hospitals.
