Objective:To analyze the coupling coordination degree between basic medical security and regional economy in China,so as to provide references for the balanced development of basic medical security and regional economic development level.Methods:Using 2022 China statistical yearbook and China health statistics yearbook as data sources,the spatial correlation of the coupling coordination degree of basic medical security and regional economy in each province was analyzed,and Moran scatter plot was used to explore its spatial distribution characteristics.Results:The coupling degree of basic medical security and regional econ-omy in provinces tended to 1,and the degree of mutual influence was high.Moran's index was 0.307>0,there were few provinces in which the coupling coordination degree belonged to the good coordination type,and most of them were distributed in moderate co-ordination and reluctant coordination.There was a positive correlation between the spatial coupling and coordinated development of basic medical security and regional economy in each province.Conclusion:The overall coupling coordination degree of basic medi-cal security and regional economy in China needs to be improved and the coordination state is unbalanced among provinces.There is spatial correlation between basic medical security and regional economic coupling coordination.
