Objective:To analyze the trends and characteristics of Sino-US academic cooperation in the field of public health,so as to provide evidence and references for further promoting health academic collaboration.Methods:The articles published by the Sino-US academic collaboration in the field of public health were retrieved based on the Web of Science Core Col-lection database.These articles were categorized into 5 stages according to the presidency of the United States.The number of arti-cles,research hotspots,the dominance of countries,and characteristics of institutional cooperation were analyzed at each stage using the method of bibliometric analysis.Results:A total of 12103 articles were retrieved.The average annual number of articles continued to increase across the 5 stages,reaching a peak of 1372 during the Biden administration.The dominant rate of China had been increasing,surpassing the United States during the Obama administration and peaking at 63.57%during the Trump adminis-tration.Among the top 10 institutions with the highest number of publications in 5 stages,the number of Chinese institutions in-creased from 6 to 9.However,the number of Chinese institutions with intermediary centrality values≥0.1 decreased.Conclusion:China's dominance in Sino-US public health academic cooperation is constantly increasing,and the hotspots of cooperation are more diverse.However,the academic influence of Chinese institutions still needs improvement.
