Objective:To analyze the regional differences of health resource allocation status in Gansu province,so as to pro-vide references for optimizing health resource allocation in Gansu province.Methods:The entropy weight TOPSIS method and RSR(Rank Sum Ratio)method were used to comprehensively evaluate the health resource allocation in Gansu from 2017 to 2021.Results:According to the entropy weight TOPSIS method,we could obtain the average level of comprehensive evaluation of 2017-2021 in the western region of yellow river,the central region,the eastern region,the southern region,and ethnic autonomous pre-fecture,which were 0.6028,0.3995,0.2956,0.2042 and 0.1745 respectively.The grading results of RSR method showed that Jiayu-guan,Lanzhou and Jinchang were classified as"good",Zhangye,Wuwei,Jiuquan,Pingliang,Baiyin,Gannan,Qingyang,Tian-shui and Dingxi were classified as"medium",Longnan and Linxia were classified as"poor".Conclusion:There are obvious re-gional differences in the allocation of health resources in Gansu,especially in the southern region and ethnic autonomous prefectures where the level of health resource allocation is relatively poor,and there is also a shortage of healthcare manpower in these areas.In the future,the government and relevant departments should take measures to address the shortage of healthcare manpower.They should also pay more attention to ethnic regions and improve the quality of healthcare services in these areas,and measures should be taken to build healthcare workforce in ethnic regions,thereby promoting high-quality coordinated development of healthcare re-sources across different regions in Gansu.
