Objective:To analyze the risk factors of unintentional injuries in children aged 0-6 years in Urumqi, and to pro-vide references for reducing the risk of these injuries. Methods:The survey was conducted from August 2021 to August 2022.Guardians of 2000 children aged 0-6 years from 10 public kindergartens and the pediatric healthcare department of a tertiary first-class hospital in Urumqi were surveyed.Logistic regression was used to identify the risk factors for unintentional injuries in children, and a risk line chart model for these injuries was established. Results:The survey found a 16.9%incidence of accidental injuries among 0-6 year-olds in Urumqi.Logistic regression results indicated that factors such as the child's age, mother's occupation, family living area, parental perceptual sensitivity, and educational behavior significantly influenced the occurrence of unintentional injuries in children aged 0-6 years(P<0.05).The most influential factors were parental perceptual sensitivity(0-100 points),mother's occupation(0-72 points),and family living area(0-47.5 points). Conclusion:In Urumqi, factors such as the child's age, family living area, mother's occupation, parental perceptual sensitivity, and educational behavior are significant risk factors for unintentional injuries in children aged 0-6 years. The government, community, and families should focus on these factors and im-plement targeted interventions to reduce the occurrence of these injuries.
