With the deepening of urbanization and rural revitalization,China's rural medical and health system has gradually shifted from focusing on full coverage of institutions to paying more attention to full coverage of services,striving to adapt to the characteristics of the countryside and to be of high quality and efficiency.The town of M in Y county,Yunnan province,has suc-cessfully implemented the"central village clinic"model by means of strategic site selection,collaborative efforts among three par-ties,and the integration of staffing and community health demands.Adopting a symbiotic perspective on rural healthcare services,this study examines the symbiotic logic underpinning the"central village clinic"model,considering the alignment of objectives a-mong symbiotic units,the mutual benefits and reciprocity within symbiotic relationships,and the vitality of the symbiotic environ-ment.Furthermore,this study offers recommendations for a sustainable management mechanism to support the long-term develop-ment of this model.
