Objective:To analyze the current situation and related factors of Internet medical service utilization for older a-dults,and to provide a reference for exploring feasible ways to improve its utilization.Methods:Using the method of stratified sam-pling,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 60-75 years old community residents in the eastern,central and western prov-inces(Beijing,Hunan and Inner Mongolia)in China.The SPSS 26.0 and Mplus 8.3 were used to analyze the structural equation modeling of the utilization of Internet medical services among the elderly,and the related factors of the utilization of Internet medical services were explored.Results:The utilization rate of Internet medical services for the elderly was 37.8%,and the independent u-tilization rate of Internet medical services for the elderly was 16.9%,among which the utilization of online appointment and online fee payment was the highest.The results of structural equation modeling showed that under the condition of controlling the service environment and utilization demand,the factors related to the utilization of Internet medical services by the elderly were social par-ticipation(β=0.153,P<0.001)and social support(β=0.123,P<0.001).The factors related to the independent utilization of In-ternet medical services by the elderly were self-efficacy(β=0.154,P=0.003)and social participation(β=0.138,P=0.001).Conclusion:The situation of utilization of Internet medical services among older adults still has considerable room to improve,and the factors including self-efficacy,social support and social participation are related to utilization of Internet medical services.It is necessary to improve the level of self-efficacy of the elderly and strengthen social support and participation,which will help to pro-mote the elderly to make more active utilization of Internet medical services.
