摘要
目的:分析长期护理保险制度对我国老年人生理健康和心理健康状况的影响,为完善长期护理保险制度提供参考依据.方法:基于2011-2020 年中国健康与养老追踪调查的5 期数据,纳入12401 名60 岁及以上老年人,通过倾向性评分匹配和双重差分相结合的方法分析长期护理保险制度对我国老年人生理健康和心理健康状况的影响.结果:长期护理保险制度可以显著改善老年人的生理健康和心理健康状况,模型结果显示长期护理保险制度对生理健康状况(P<0.01)和心理健康状况(P<0.01)的影响均有统计学意义;长期护理保险制度对心理健康状况的影响在不同地区间存在异质性,对东部地区的老年人作用显著(P<0.01).结论:长期护理保险制度有助于改善我国老年人的生理健康和心理健康状况,且存在群体异质性;应根据不同地区特点推进长期护理保险制度试点,满足老年人的心理健康需求,进而改善老年人的生理和心理健康状况,以应对老龄化挑战.
Abstract
Objective:To analyze the influence of long-term care insurance system on the physical and mental health status of older adults in China,so as to provide references for improving the long-term care insurance system.Methods:Based on data from five phases of the China health and retirement longitudinal survey from 2011-2020,12401 elderly people aged 60 and above were included,and this study analyzed the influence of long-term care insurance system on the physical and mental health of the elderly in China through the method of propensity score matching and difference-in-differences.Results:Long-term care insurance system significantly improved the physical and mental health status of the elderly,and the results of models showed that the effects of long-term care insurance system on mental health(P＜0.01)and physical health(P＜0.01)were statistically significant.The effect of long-term care insurance system on mental health was heterogeneous among different regions,and the effect on the elderly in east-ern China was significant(P＜0.01).Conclusion:Long-term care insurance can improve the physical and mental health status of the elderly in China,and there is group heterogeneity.It is recommended to carry out long-term care insurance pilot in terms of characteristics of different areas,meet the mental health needs of the elderly,and improve the physical and mental health of the elderly,in order to meet the challenges of aging.
