Part-time work by physicians can be categorized based on professional relevance into core professional,derivative professional,and non-professional types,each facing different legal risks.Core professional part-time work involves legal risks such as unclear liability division in multi-site practice,intensified unfair competition,and questionable compliance of internet di-agnosis and treatment.Derivative professional part-time work entails risks including the replacement of consultations with diagnoses on mobile medical platforms,unclear intellectual property rights of work created during employment or on commission,and poten-tial patient privacy breaches.To address these legal risks,it is necessary to further refine legal regulations for core professional part-time work and to fill regulatory gaps for derivative professional part-time work.With the advancement of healthcare system re-forms,it is crucial to establish and improve relevant legal regulations for physicians'part-time work and to explore key points for the implementation of physician part-time work policies in China.
