As one of the major national actors,the United States has been extensively involved in global health governance and has shown a high level of interest in related topics.This paper analyzes the participation of the United States in the 66th to 76th World Health Assembly(WHA).The study found that the United States had three characteristics when participating in the assem-bly,including high participation in the topics and paying special attention to the participation of new topics,paying attention to the issues closely related to its national conditions and global health strategies,and actively using international multilateral platforms to achieve the purpose of global health diplomacy.Based on this,the following suggestions are put forward for China's participation in the WHA.In the future,China should pay more attention to the topics of the conference,actively respond to the resolutions of the conference and guide the formulation and implementation of domestic policies.Also,the delegates should focus on building China's image through conference diplomacy in order to consolidate and expand the network of health partners.Moreover,China should con-tinue to expand the source of delegation members to provide multi-perspective solutions.
