Objective:To explore the relationship and mechanism between perceived stress and employee well-being among doctors in public hospitals in Jilin Province,providing a reference for alleviating stress and improving well-being levels.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted among doctors in public hospitals in Jilin province from December 2022 to March 2023 using scales for perceived stress,work-family conflict,employee well-being,and emotion regulation self-efficacy,and a moderated mediation model was constructed and tested using the Bootstrap method.Results:A total of 2353 valid questionnaires were collected.Work-family conflict was significantly positively correlated with perceived stress(r=0.58,P<0.01)and signifi-cantly negatively correlated with employee well-being(r=-0.56,P<0.01);perceived stress was significantly negatively correlated with employee well-being(r=-0.64,P<0.01).The indirect effect value of work-family conflict between perceived stress and em-ployee well-being was-0.44,with a contribution rate of 25.00%.Emotion regulation self-efficacy moderated the relationship be-tween work-family conflict and employee well-being(β=0.02,P<0.001).Conclusion:Perceived stress affects employee well-being through work-family conflict,and emotion regulation self-efficacy moderates the effect of work-family conflict on employee well-being.It is recommended to optimize work arrangements,provide psychological support,and enhance emotion regulation abili-ties to reduce doctors'stress,improve their work-family balance,and effectively enhance overall employee well-being.
