Objective:To study the coordination between medical service prices and economic development level in six cities and states in Hubei province,so as to provide references for promoting the coordinated development of regional economy.Methods:Based on comparability,Wuhan,Xianning,Jingmen,Xiangyang,Shiyan and Enshi were included in the study.Descriptive statis-tics method was used to analyze the average price of medical service items and comparable items in the six cities and states,and the improved CRITIC method was used to construct and analyze the coupled coordination model between the price of medical services and the level of economic development in the region.Results:After three medical service price reforms,the coupling coordination degree between medical service price and economic development level in Wuhan gradually increased,and the coordination level was in high coordination.Jingmen and Xiangyang were in intermediate coordination as a whole.Shiyan,Xianning,and Enshi turned from primary to intermediate coordination after the price adjustment.The coupling coordination degree of medical service price level and economic development level of each region in 2021 was from high to low for Wuhan(0.96),Xiangyang(0.80),Shiyan(0.76),Jingmen(0.77),Enshi(0.73),and Xianning(0.73).Conclusion:The price catalogue of medical services in Hubei province is comparable,and the coupling and coordination between regional medical service prices and the economy is generally on the rise,but there are regional gaps.The price convergence of medical services in the province should be strengthened in the future to gradually form a new pattern of regional coordination.
