Research progress of ultrasound elastography and contrast-enhanced ultrasound in evaluating the efficacy of neoadju-vant chemotherapy for breast cancer
Neoadjuvant chemotherapy is a very important part of comprehensive treatment for breast cancer.Early evaluation of its efficacy will help to adjust the treatment plan in time and improve the prognosis of breast cancer patients.Ultrasound elas-tography and contrast-enhanced ultrasound are new ultrasound technologies emerging in recent years,which can display tumor hardness,blood perfusion characteristics in real time,and have unique advantages in the evaluation of neoadjuvant chemo-therapy for breast cancer.This article reviews the research progress of ultrasound elastography and contrast-enhanced ultrasound in evaluating the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer.
