Objective To investigate the feasibility of MR mDIXON-Quant technique and IP-OP sequence for quantitative analysis of liver fat in adult nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods A total of 73 cases were collected, including 51 cases in the experimental group(33 males and 18 females),and 22 cases in the control group(10 males and 12 females). All enrolled patients underwent 3.0T MR mDIXON-Quant examination and IP-OP examination, and upper abdominal CT examina-tion within one week. The CT liver/spleen ratio was measured as the diagnostic standard of fatty liver; The quantitative data of liver fat of mDIXON-Quant sequence and IP-OP sequence were statistically analyzed. Results 1)The difference of HFF between control group and fatty liver group was statistically significant(P<0.001);As for IP-OP sequence,HFC in control group and fatty liver group was statistically significant(P<0.001);There was a negative correlation between HFF,HFC and CT value ratio of liver and spleen(r =-0.974,P<0.001,r=-0.972,P<0.001).2)ROC curve analysis showed that HFF and HFC could diag-nose fatty liver, and AUC was greater than 0.5.For mild to moderate fatty liver, the sensitivity of HFF was higher than that of HFC,and the specificity was lower than that ofHFC;However, for severe fatty liver, the sensitivity and specificity of both were 1,and HFF was higher than HFC.Conclusion MR mDIXON-Quant technique and IP-OP sequence are feasible to quantita-tively evaluate the fat content of NAFLD liver, and have a good correlation with the ratio of liver and spleen CT value.MR mDIXON-Quant technique is more sensitive than IP-OP sequence in the determination of fat content of mild and moderate fatty liver, and more specific than IP-OP sequence in severe fatty liver group.
