Analysis on the Influence of New Media in Medical Humanities Cultivation
With advantages in abundant functions,convenient interacting and rapid spread,the new media has extended from the field of information communication to other areas of society.As an important educational carrier,it is able to make up for inadequacy of current medical humanities education,and solve the dilemma of unsatisfactory effect.Based on the comparison on characteristics,advantages,disadvantages,strategies of new platforms,this paper argued that the new media played a positive role in establishing a new medical industry,in terms of building consensus,guiding career development,solving professional confusion,broadening the feedback channels,extending lifelong education and so on.Meanwhile,the new media may have negatives impacts on practicing medical humanistic spirit,such as,it may enhance instrumental rationality,exacerbate the role confrontation,weaken social identity and break the medical humanistic spirit of physicians.
