Narrative medicine provides a constructive solution for the intervention of humanities and social sciences in the field of medicine, gradually shifting the focus of technology first medical practice towards humanistic practice that emphasizes the individual life value and cares for their suffering. It has unique advantages in bridging the gap between doctors and patients and improving understanding. However, from the perspective of China's path of modernization,it is still necessary to carefully reflect on the narrative medicine methodology in the western context, especially considering the cultural differences and social realities under the national system to avoid simplistic handling and application.Based on a rooted understanding of the Chinese context,it is essential to explore a narrative medicine model that adapts to the unique medical and health practices in China and constructs a harmonious doctor-patient environment.
