Based on observations from a retraction database,this study focuses on retracted papers related to corona virus disease 2019 in the field of biomedicine.It analyzes instances of academic misconduct in retracted papers and provides reflections and suggestions on research integrity issues in academic papers under the background of major public health events.The study explores the dialectical relationship between research integrity and the speed of academic paper publication in the context of major public health events.It suggests improving the supervision mechanism of research integrity through post-publication evaluation of academic papers.The study also emphasizes the establishment and improvement of an emergency management mechanism for research integrity by enhancing data management and sharing of academic papers.Addressing conflicts of interest in the field of biomedicine is crucial,and leveraging the credibility and communication advantages of academic journals is essential to interpret academic debates.Finally,the study advocates for further solidifying the construction of research integrity in Chinese academic papers.
