This paper analyzed the basic characteristics of retracted papers related to the global corona virus disease 2019 theme, and discussed the ethical and integrity issues behind them. The research reveals that lapses in journal publishing ethics have led to a significant increase in the number of retracted papers, and research misconduct exhibits complex features.Determining non-subjective error retraction reasons is challenging, and research misconduct is prominent, even triggering a crisis of public trust.Based on this,it is suggested to improve the construction of publishing ethics, intensifying efforts to address research misconduct, conducting targeted education and supervision of science and technology ethics in the medical field, and incorporating research misconduct into the critical agenda of technology ethics governance.
