Clinical Intervention Pathways for Psychological Empowerment of Cancer Patients
Psychological empowerment of patients is a new and positive construct of healthcare that has emerged in recent years,which focuses on individual capabilities rather than deficiencies.It emphasizes the importance of creating a motivational structure for improving health and quality of life.The study initially outlines the conceptual development and psychological aspects of empowerment,and then references several empirical studies to summarize four strategies for clinical intervention to enhance the psychological aspects of cancer patients.These include shared decision-making,peer support,empowerment education,and cognitive-behavioral stress management.The authors also discuss the managerial enabling value of these interventions.Finally,combined with the existing research and identified problems,the authors put forward recommendations for developing interventions for the psychological empowerment of cancer patients,which are conducive to further clinical research and practical exploration.
