Body History in Ancient Texts:A Brief Discussion on the Development and Characteristics of Tibetan Medicine Constitution Theory
Tibetan medicine constitution theory holds a significant position in Tibetan medical literature.This article mainly focuses on the ancient texts of the Tubo period,ChamkukMarcham,BijiBoduKasre,MencheDawerGyalpo,YanlakNyishupa in the Buddhist Post-Hong period,and Four Tantra of Medicine in the 12th century.The contents of different constitution documents recorded in the medical classics and other documents are used as the research objects.The inductive and comparative methods are used to discuss the development process of Tibetan medicine constitution theory and various classification methods.It elucidates the different perspectives on constitution at different developmental stages of Tibetan medicine,highlighting the cultural and structural differences.The paper outlines the unique theoretical foundations and the evolution from three divisions,four divisions,five divisions,to seven divisions in Tibetan medicine constitution theory.
