With the popularity of ChatGPT around the world,its impact on various fields has sparked considerable scholarly discussions.In the realm of medicine,ChatGPT is poised to influence clinical diagnosis and treatment,medical research,and medical education,among other aspects.This study draws on theories such as technological determinism,social constructivism,and technological-social determinism to examine the impact of ChatGPT on medicine from a technological perspective and a social perspective.It reveals transformative possibilities alongside potential unknown risks.Therefore,it is necessary to correctly view the opportunities and threats of ChatGPT's application in medicine with a balanced perspective,employing rational measures to harness its potential benefits and address associated risks.
