Through the Citexs data analysis platform,a bibliometric study was conducted on the research hotspots of ChatGPT in the medical field,with visual analysis of countries,institutions,authors,keywords,journals,associated diseases,and associated genes,a total of 1398 articles were included.The research output of ChatGPT in the medical field has shown a steady upward trend over the past six years,reaching its peak in 2023.ChatGPT played significant advantage in doctor-patient communication,drug development,assisting clinical decision-making and nursing practice,as well as medical education.Research hotspots included artificial intelligence,chat robot,machine learning,etc.with disease hotspots such as COVID-19,mortality,and tumors.ChatGPT's medical research has become a global research hotspot,but there are issues such as technological blind spots,digital dependence,and ethical dilemmas.Researchers can follow its development trend to conduct genetic and hot disease research,prudently conduct ethical reflection,and deeply explore risk prevention strategies.
