The Development and Application of Sandplay Therapy in China
By combing the origin and development of sandplay therapy in China,the paper summarizes the outstanding progress in the theoretical and applied research of this technique in China in recent years.In the aspect of theoretical research,the authors focus on the relationship between the core of sandplay therapy and traditional Chinese culture.In terms of applied research,the characteristics and efficacy evaluation of sandplay therapy applied in different populations are delineated.Discussions on the clinical application of traditional Chinese cultural images and the exploratory attempt of electronic sandplay represent two representative aspects of the localization of sandplay therapy in China.Such innovation and exploration inject new vitality and bring new possibilities to the development of sandplay therapy in China.
