The Construction of Internal Incentive Mechanisms in Hospitals Based on Incomplete Contracts
How to construct internal incentive mechanism to enable hospitals to provide safe,effective,convenient and affordable healthcare is a key focus of the high-quality development of public hospitals.Therefore,this study analyzed the principal-agent relationship between hospital and doctors and its characteristics based on the assumption of incomplete contract,applied relevant theories of contract incentives,suggested how to construct the hospital internal incentive mechanism to motivate doctors employ the behavior which is in conformity to social expectations.This study proposed policy recommendations for building internal mechanisms in hospitals from the perspectives of value orientation,quasi-rent behavior motivation,incentive effectiveness,risk sharing,long-term constraints,and review mechanisms,providing reference basis for the reform of the salary system in public hospitals.
